www.greenforall.org – Check out Green For All’s website for a lot of really accessible, easy-to-understand information about what green jobs are, and where and when they will be coming to a location near you. Look at their “Resources” tab for lots of information about how to create green jobs, what’s going on on the national policy level, and what it means for your community.
http://www.urbanhabitat.org – Urban Habitat is a West Coast-based organization that “builds power in low-income communities and communities of color by combining education, advocacy, research and coalition building to advance environmental, economic and social justice in the Bay Area.” The site the link will take you to has some good posts about what green jobs are and details some of the really good green jobs stuff that’s going on in California.
http://www.ellabakercenter.org – The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights “is a strategy and action center working for justice, opportunity and peace in urban America.” Clicking on the link will point you to the Ella Baker Center’s Green Collar Jobs Campaign site.
